Valleyscapes By The Lake: Picnic & Photo Show

This Sunday my family and I will be attending Valleyscapes by the Lake.  It is an outdoor photography exhibition by Nelly Leonidis.  Hosted by The Calabogie Women’s Institute.

There is no admission fee, so bring your family and friends and enjoy a lovely afternoon on the beautiful grounds of Barnet Cottage & Park right by the shores of Calabogie Lake.  It is a perfect place to enjoy the show and to have a picnic lunch.

A collection of Nelly’s work will be exhibited on site, so you’ll be able to see some of her valley views while enjoying your own.

Location: Barnet Park & Cottage, 5179 Calabogie Road, Greater Madawaska, Ontario
Time & Date: Sunday, July 18, 2010 from 11:00 a.m until 3:00 p.m.
Picnic Info: You can purchase sandwiches and lunches from the Calabogie Women’s Institute ladies , or you can pack your own meal(s).
Barnet Park Offerings: There is an open beach for swimming, volleyball nets, a butterfly garden, picnic tables, gazebos, fishing and plenty of beautiful photo spots.

It is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.  I hope to see everyone there.
