Cookie Cutter Fun

When I was little, my mom and I baked a lot of cookies. It was fun to do and gave us a chance to bond. The cookies we had were of animals and shaped creatures, depending on the forms of cookie cutters or whatever shape my mom decided to create. It’s a family tradition that I want to pass on, and I’m sure Baby H wouldn’t mind helping his mommy make some cookies – especially since he’ll be reaping the benefits later.

I’ve been looking for fun shaped cookie cutters during my outings to craft and kitchen stores, and recently I came across Wilton’s animal shaped cookie cutters at Michael’s. They’re listed at $14.99 but with my weekly flyer, I managed to get them for 40% less.

I know Baby H is a little young to help me in the kitchen at the moment, but I think cookies are easy enough to do. We can also use them to start making some fun dinosaur sandwiches for him to eat at daycare, and a small way for him to remember us during the day when we’re apart.

Happy Shaping!
