Today is Administrative Professional’s Day; the one day a year where support staff is thanked for all the hard work they do. I’ve worked in lots of offices where the support staff were primarily the driving force behind the operation, as they kept day-to-day transactions at bay. In fact, the small details of every production are the elements that take up most time and sanity. So by all accounts, administrative staff should be thanked all year round.

Here is ShopHaven’s quick list of suitable ideas for gifts to give your prized admin staff:

• An editable arrangement
• An indigo gift card if they’re a reader
• Flowers are always always always a favourite
• Starbucks/SecondCup coffee card in a nice tumbler or travel mug. Know their habits before you purchase, they might enjoy Tea more or prefer juice.
• A wine bottle; if you don’t know their preferences just get a nice $40 bottle of red
