ShopHaven : New & Improved

We’re super excited about the new changes that have happened over the past few days.

First, we have a new look!

We’re a little more clean, neat, and easy to look through. The menus are compact and reflect clearly what ShopHaven is all about.

It’s not all cosmetic for ShopHaven though, we’re changing our “Support Local” posts. We will no longer accept business requests to get profiled under our “support local” section. Instead, we’re looking for recommendations from customers about businesses they’d like to see profiled. We feel it’s a more honest reflection of the good business done by local shops and people. We also give preference to business that are in the Ottawa and surrounding Valley areas, and will not be profiling chain/franchise businesses anymore.

This is all to support our initial vision of helping the artisans, service people, businesses and shops in the (613) area.

We would absolutely love to get your feedback on our changes! Please leave us a comment or send us an email with your thoughts, pinkie promise we won’t get upset with any feedback that doesn’t start with “I absolutely love this!”.
