Baby H Visiting Santa

Baby H Visiting Santa

When I was little, I always loved to go and visit Santa Claus.  I could not wait to tell him what I wanted for Christmas.  Last year, we took Baby H to see Santa and he was not a fan, this year on the other hand was a different story.  Baby H has been going on and on about Santa for a couple of weeks, so I thought it was time to take him for a visit.  On a recent trip to Bayshore, I told Baby H that Santa may be in the mall and we could go and visit him.   When we got in to the mall, Baby H ran toward Santa.  I can honestly say that I did not expect him to go and visit him at all considering he did not want to last year.

We walked up to where Santa was sitting and Baby H just stared at him with his eyes wide with amazement.  I asked Baby H if he wanted to go say Hi and he said no, I said okay, and we kept walking.  We walked around the corner and Baby H said “stop, mommy I go see Santa” so we turned around and off we went to get in line.  Again, Baby H just stared in amazement.  I put Baby H down on Santa and as soon as Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas, his eyes widened again and he just stared.  Finally, Santa managed to get two high fives out of Baby H and a half-smile.  I have never seen my son so quiet.

A soon as we said goodbye to Santa, Baby H would not stop babbling about Santa and his reindeer.
