Thank you to everyone that has registered for the first Energizer Night Skate hosted by the Sens Foundation.  On Friday January 27th, 2012, there will be thousands of people lacing up their skates and lighting up the canal wearing their Energizer® LED Headlights for a great cause.  The Sens Foundation is raising money to build outdoor rinks in priority communities.

Registration is still open.  To register, donate, pledge a family member or friend that is participating in this event, simply visit the www.energizernightskate.ca website.

All of the donations and pledges will be going to a good cause.  The top two fundraisers will receive: Two (2) tickets to attend the 2012 NHL All Star Skills Competition™ and NHL® All-Star Game at Scotiabank Place, January 28-29.  There are some great additional prizes up for grabs too, they include: a skating party with Jason Spezza, an autographed All-Star jersey, Rideau Centre gift cards, and Sens tickets.

The Foundation has put together a great video on the event and its cause, take a peak. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGJcyAnDn9g)
